UnoMeter™ 500 — 100% closed system with clinically-documented effectiveness
Since over half of all hospital-acquired infections are bladder-related, many experts recommend the use of sterile, closed urine drainage systems such as the UnoMeter 500 to help combat this growing problem.1
According to a comparative study published in the British Journal of Urology, Unometer 500 “performed significantly better” than other systems in preventing retrograde contamination due to its special design,2 which combines a unique self-flushing chamber with two highly effective non-return valves.

Intended Use
UnoMeter™ 500 Hourly Diuresis Measuring System is a mechanical and disposable urine meter which is intended to be used for collection, sampling and measuring urine volume output (diuresis) over time in critically ill patients. Fitted with bottom outlet. The products are intended for single use only.
The product is equipped with the needle-free KombiKon™ connector with an integrated inspection window.
The UnoMeterTM 500 Urine Monitoring System includes:
- Catheter connector with KombiKon™ needle-free sample port
- Inlet tubing with tube clamp and anti-kink spiral
- Measuring chamber (500 ml capacity) with air-vent filter
- Collection bag (2000 ml capacity) with air-vent filter and non-return valve
- Bottom outlet
- Integrated string and straps for fixation
